If you are creating a movie or a video slideshow, there are several things to consider before you begin using an editing station. It will be a great benefit if you do some preparation and answer a few critical questions before you begin editing.
Here are a few tips to help you organize your video before you come in. You will be more productive, save you money and maximize your time with the editing equipment.

What type of background audio do you want?
Will you want audio transitions?
Do you want the audio and video synchronized?
What media do I have, to create this video?
What media requires conversion to digital format?
Will you want video transitions?
What should your introduction screen say?
How do you want your video to end?
Do you want subtitles in your video?
If so, where are they placed and how is each one phrased?
How many copies will you need?
Decide what audio you want in the background. You can remove existing audio and replace this with audio from CD’s, cassette tapes, records or your mp3 player. If you have music on records or cassette tapes we are able to convert these to digital format.
You can scan photos and 35 mm negatives. Please refer to our Films and Movies page if your Camcorder, 8 mm, Hi8, VHS and VHS–C tapes will be used for your final video. We will convert these to digital format for you.
