When your editing is complete and you are ready to create, (encode) your movie, select
from one of seven different video format options. The ones most often selected are
shown below.
- Presentation WMV--We encode your video to a Windows Media Video file. You can use
it in Powerpoint presentations. Your video will play in full-screen 640x480 mode
with quality that nearly equals your source video file. You'll want to have a newer
laptop to play it on and may want to store your converted file on your PC laptop's
hard drive to prevent any stuttering. Up to 45 minutes of this WMV video will fit
on a CD.
- Presentation MPEG-2-- We encode your video file to a very high quality MPEG-2. Up
to 12 minutes of video will fit on a CD. It's main use is in extremely high quality
presentations played from a fast, new PC.
- Universal MPEG-1-- We encode your video to MPEG-1. It displays in a 352x240 window.
The quality is good. The main advantage to this format is that it will play on most
computers and on most operating systems. Up to 60 minutes of video will fit on a
CD.
- Computer AVI/MOV-- We encode your video to a file you can edit on a PC computer.
Only 3 minutes of video will fit on a CD--19 minutes will fit on a DVD. This raw
file is excellant, the window size is 720x480.
After your video is encoded, place multiple movies on a single DVD that will play
in your DVD player. Create a menu that will let you select each movie with the click
of a button.
